Description
A practical XR Ed-tech platform that digitises Soft/Hard Skills Education. Through tailored immersive experiences and simulations we enable real world skills training and exploration that would be otherwise too difficult/expensive for African Schools in real life. We piloted the use of Virtual Reality in schools for Soft and Hard Skills Training (2022) in line with the current trends of digital transformation of TVET Africa. The training featured gender inclusive technical leaders from 7 TVET institutions across Uganda as digital literacy trainers.
Impact
Our programs focus on the impact & significance of Digitization and emerging technologies such as Extended Reality (XR) & Ai in making education affordable and accessible for students across Africa. Digitization complements / substitutes physical classes thus making skills training & education more accessible against barriers such as geography, cost and infrastructure allowing for faster and optimized workforce development. Additionally XR/VR/AR/Ai technology fosters inclusivity, global collaboration and exchange due to the digital literacy skills embodied in our work.
