Building a Ugandan Oilseed Power-house: Invest in bulking, value addition and export high quality, climate-resilience sim-sim ( sesame) and oilseeds. The partnership is tracking the core inefficiencies in Uganda's' oilseed sector by building an integrated, member-based supply chain to bridge gap between small-holder farmers; and lucrative international market

Impact

1.It empowers a network of 10,000 farmers with the inputs, extension services and market access needed to transition from subsistence to commercial export-oriented agriculture 2.The model ensures a reliable and consistent supply of premium products for global buyers, while generating sustainable incomes for rural communities and creating significant employment opportunities thereby improving resilience of farmers to the impact of climate change and other disasters.
