The MakSol solar-electric induction cooker is a standing oven-type domestic cooker that uses 100% solar power to enable families to cook. It is an indoor electric appliance and therefore does not require whoever it cooking to stand under the sun as is with traditional solar concentrators. The appliance uses induction heating technology and therefore is capable of achieving very fast cooking speeds thus saving mothers kitchen time.

Impact

The social impact of our innovation is that mothers will have more time for development opportunities as they will be spending less time in the kitchen.
