AGRO SENSE

Agriculture Prototype
Description

Agrosense uses computer vision and machine learning to detect crop diseases directly from photos taken with a farmer’s smartphone. By analyzing leaf patterns, color changes, and texture, the system provides instant feedback on the likely disease and suggests affordable treatment options. The solution is designed with unique features that make it stand out: it works offline-first for areas with poor connectivity, offers localized recommendations tailored to the farmer’s crops, and includes a community outbreak reporting system that aggregates data to help track and prevent disease spread. This combination of accessibility, accuracy, and adaptability ensures that smallholder farmers can detect diseases early and protect their harvests more effectively.
